Where Is Manchester ?
MANCHESTER IS LOCATED on the East coastline of South Kitsap County. From the Manchester shoreline we look due east and enjoy a view across Puget Sound of the Downtown Seattle skyline. Also visible from our location is the daily traffic of the Washington State Ferries traveling from Seattle to Bremerton, Southworth and Vashon Island. Commercial ships traffic as well as U. S Navy vessels arriving and departing Puget Sound Naval Shipyard can also be seen.
FROM TACOMA: Starting from the Tacoma Narrows Bridge drive toward Port Orchard following SR-16 for a distance of about 18 miles until you reach the SEDGWICK ROAD exit. There is a McDonalds restaurant on the right hand corner. At the exit ramp stop sign, make a right turn onto Sedgwick Rd and travel up the hill for about a mile until you reach the traffic light at Bethel Road, turn LEFT.
Travel on BETHEL RD. for about 2 1/2 miles to the next intersection (traffic circle) and turn right on to MILE HILL DRIVE. Stay on this road for a distance of about 5 miles until you reach COLCHESTER DRIVE, turn left. Continue on Colchester Dr. about two miles until you reach MAIN STREET, turn right and MANCHESTER REALTY is on the right side of the street.
FROM BREMERTON: Leaving Bremerton follow the signs to PORT ORCHARD. When in Port Orchard continue through town and continue to the intersection (traffic circle) at the far end of town and stay to the LEFT on to MILE HILL DRIVE. Once on Mile Hill drive follow the directions in the above paragraph to MANCHESTER REALTY.
FROM WEST SEATTLE: (CROSS SOUND FERRY) Take the Ferry from Fauntleroy to Southworth (crossing is about 35 minutes). From the Southworth Ferry Terminal follow the signs toward Port Orchard. The road takes you through Old Harper and Historic South Colby. After leaving South Colby continue on the Manchester Highway for about a 1 1/2 miles until you reach COLCHESTER DRIVE, turn right. Follow Colchester Dr. about two miles until you reach MAIN STREET, turn right and MANCHESTER REALTY is on the right side of the street.
