Early Manchester

This is downtown Manchester as it looked in the early 1900's.   Pictured is the Denniston Mansion

and an old steam ferry. The building on the left was situated at the foot of Main Street at the current Pomoroy Park. One had to row out to catch the ferry as this mosquito run was prior to the Manchester Ferry dock.
